Objective
A student is required to gain practical business experience in projects and/or internship worth 15 ECTS points over and above of the Future Factory Project (10 ECTS) and Applied Track Project (5 ECTS).
Projects and internship are defined as the process of learning through the planning and implementation of real-life projects involving active participation of a group of students under the guidance of faculty advisor. The required knowledge, skills, and methods to implement projects are taught during the first-year studies. We recommend that project ideas relate to the specialisation studies, practical training, or Bachelor’s Thesis.
Students may complete their internship as employees either in one period or in two periods, thus allowing suitable summer jobs to be included in the degree. Any job to be included in the degree is subject to the approval of the career tutor in advance. Students may complete their projects and internship in Finland or abroad.
We suggest that students combine the content of their projects and internship with their chosen specialisation studies and Bachelor’s Thesis.
Content
Tailored individually based on the learning goals and career wishes of each student.
