Objective

Student has a basic idea about the structure and function of the maintenance and control systems of the human body.

Content

Structural basics of human body and physiological mechanisms of organ systems from the following contents:
cell and tissue, cell structure, tissue and organs construction.
- musculoskeletal system; major bone and muscle tissue, large bones in the body and various joints, superficial muscles of the body and their effect on the functioning of different joints.
- blood and bloodstream, blood components (cells, plasma) and the functions of the circulatory system. Main features of the body's white blood cell defenses and the bleeding bleeding process. Core structures (including Latin) and heart rotation. Major differences in venous and arteries, as well as the largest blood vessels in the body and the importance of the suction system for the functioning of the body. Anatomic physiological basics for measuring ecg and blood pressure.
- breathing; (upper and lower respiratory tract, lung and pulmonary vesicles, thoracic cavity) and the various stages of the respiratory process (lung ventilation, gas exchange in the lungs and tissues). Basics of breathing regulation and respiratory volume.
- digestion, gastrointestinal tract and digestive fluids and enzymes producing glands. The digestion and absorption of nutrients, how they are stored in the body or how they are removed from the body.

The student is able to consistently designate the basic structures of human organ systems (anatomy), and he/she can name the central structures of the heart also in Latin.
The student is able to describe and analyze the key function (physiology) of different human organ systems. He/she is able to apply the basics of anatomy and physiology to his or her professional field.

The student is able to name the basic organs of human organ systems (anatomy). He/she knows some parts of the heart also in Latin. The student is able to describe the key functions of the human organ systems (physiology). He/she identifies the basics of anatomy and physiology in relation to his or her field of expertise.

The student recognizes individual basic infrastructure of human organ systems. He/she can also name individual parts of the heart in Latin. The student is able to describe only part of the key functions of human organs (physiology). He/she identifies some of the anatomy and physiology basics related to his / her own field of expertise.
