Master student is able to define nursing science and research. He/she understands the current philosophy of nursing science and research as well as the methodology and kinds of nursing scientific research. Master student can identify different types of nursing research and the phases of research. He/she is able to explain the current trends in nursing science and research. He/ she can apply international and national scientific data bases of nursing research.

The exam 100 %.
Pass: The passing point of the exam is 50 %. If the student gets 50 % or above 50 % of his or her answers correct, then he or she will pass the course.
Fail: Any lower than 50% of the exam score is a fail, and he or she will be required to take the exam again.

50-60 % 1 (Adequate)
Master student is able to define nursing science and research. He/ she can identify different types of nursing research and can describe the trends in nursing science. The student can apply data bases of nursing research.

61-70 % 2 (Satisfactory)
Master student is able to define nursing science and research. He/ she understands the current philosophy of nursing science and research as well as the methodology and kinds of nursing scientific research. Master student can identify different types of nursing research and the phases of research. He/she is able to describe the current trends in nursing science and research. He/ she can apply international and national data bases of nursing research.

71-80 % 3 (Good)
Master student is able to define nursing science and research. He/ she understands the current philosophy of nursing science and research as well as the methodology and kinds of nursing scientific research. Master student can identify well the different types of nursing research and the phases of research. He/she is able to describe well the current trends in nursing science and research. He/ she can apply well international and national data bases of nursing research.

81-90 % 4 (Very good)
Master student is able to illustrate nursing science and research. In addition, he/ she understands the current philosophy of nursing science and research as well as the methodology and kinds of nursing scientific research. Master student can identify and compare different types of nursing research and the phases of research. He/she is able to explain the current trends in nursing science and research. He/ she can apply well international and national data bases of nursing research.

91-100 % 5 (Excellent)
Master student is able to illustrate well nursing science and research. In addition, he/ she can compare and contrast the strength and weaknessess of nursing science and research. He/she can critically review the current philosophy of nursing science and research as well as the methodology and assess nursing scientific research. Master student can identify and analyse different types of nursing research and the phases of research. He/she is able to explain well the current trends in nursing science and research.
