Learning outcomes of the course
The students master the basic concepts and principles of procedural law. They are familiar with the essential regulations regarding the institution of proceedings, hearings and decisions, and their application to practice.
Course contents
Subject of trial, judgement theories, trial, presentation of evidence, court’s authority, processing applications, procedural remedies, appealing, specific types of processes and alternative settlement of conflicts, international procedural law, legal assistance
Prerequisites and co-requisites
Principles of legal knowledge and a command of how to retrieve and analyse legal information
Assessment criteria
Assessment criteria - grade 1 and 2
Assessment is based on knowledge, skills and competence in accordance with the National and European Qualifications Framework, Level 6.
