The students master the basic knowledge of strategy, customers and human resources management in different company organizations and they know and have learned the working methods and ways applied in management tasks. The students can apply the basics of strategic management from the viewpoint of management.

In the normal course student
- participates in teaching situations at JAMK
- independently studies the teaching materials
- Makes the assignments in groups
- participates visiting lectures and excursions that may be held during the course

The students are able to find information independently and to prepare reports. They have the basic knowledge of processes of a company.
