Student gets familiar with databases to the extent necessary from the point of view of electrical and automation technology. By this course, the student has a basic understanding of databases.
EUR-ACE KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
Student is familiar with the basic structures and terminology of databases.
EUR-ACE APPLYING TECHNOLOGY INTO PRACTICE
Student is able to retrieve, edit and append the information stored in the database using database queries.

Assessment criteria - grade 1 and 2
Sufficient (1): Student recognizes the basics and terminology, but has shortcomings in understanding the key issues.
Satisfactory (2): Student knows the basics and terminology, but has shortcomings in the application of key issues.
Assessment criteria - grade 3 and 4
Good (3): Student is familiar with basic database queries and working with them. Student is able to apply the theory learnt from databases to practice and understand the concept model.
Very good (4): Student knows the key subjects and is able to apply them in different implementations.
Assessment criteria - grade 5
Excellent (5): Student masters key subjects and is able to apply them creatively and innovatively.
