Learning outcomes of the course
Globalisation has the growing interdependence of national economies, involving primarily customers, producers, suppliers, and governments in different markets. Thus, Global Marketing calls for devising strategies on the product, pricing, promotion and logistic and services provided with the challenges in the political, economical and market structure across the globe.
In this course, the students will learn about various motives that trigger firms to go international such as; how to initiate an Internalization plan? how to select an international market cluster? and segmenting clusters to enter into the foreign markets. Next, we will learn, the product, pricing, placing and promotional decision in the international context.

Sufficient 1: You show only a sufficient knowledge of the material and concepts but fail to show a convincing ability to apply the knowledge to a real-life situation nor to communicate the concepts in an effective manner. There are issues in complying with JAMK reporting instructions.
Satisfactory 2: You show satisfactory knowledge of the material and concepts and attempt to apply the knowledge to a real-life situation. You can communicate the concepts responsibly. There are some issues in complying with JAMK reporting instructions.
Assessment criteria - grade 3 and 4
Good 3: You show good knowledge of material and concepts. You are able to apply them well to real-life situation and communicate these in an effective way. There are some issues in complying with JAMK reporting instructions.
Very good: You show very good knowledge of material and concepts. You are able to apply them innovatively to real-life situation and communicate these in an effective way. There are minor issues in complying with JAMK reporting instructions.
Assessment criteria - grade 5
You show exceptional knowledge of subject material. You demonstrate the ability to apply the material to real-life situations and challenges in a critical manner with superior communications skills, fully in compliance with JAMK reporting instructions.
