Learning outcomes of the course
You will receive support to handle public speaking situations. You understand the factors which influence being nervous about public speaking. You are aware of your own strengths and resources as a presenter, and you have the courage to confront public speaking situations. You are aware of your own communication competency and develop your communication skills. You will become more confident to present and thus your self-confidence will increase. You will develop your courage to participate in public speaking situations and practice giving oral presentations.
Course contents
The course approaches nervousness from a psychological and communicative perspective. Public speaking related to study, working life and leisure situations will be practiced in a safe and encouraging atmosphere. You will proceed according to individually set goals and you will receive personal guidance throughout the whole course.
