Objective

The student knows the biological and economic basics of forest cultivation, is able to choose the right silvicultural measures and knows the forest management guidelines and norms in different development phases of even-aged forest. He knows the basics of uneven-aged forest management. The student is able to prevent forest damages.

The student can choose suitable measures for even-aged forest and is able to evaluate the effects of silvicultural measures to stand development and nature. The student is able to estimate the economical and ecological boundary conditions considering sustainability in uneven-aged forest treatments. The student identifies main forest damages and is able to prevent them. Assignments are passed and they follow the instructions. Their reporting is error-free and it applies diverse sources.
