Objective

Student can assess and analyse clients who has musculoskeletal impairments or athlete`s preconditions and limitations of movement including uncontrolled movement and by assessment of differential diagnostic student can assess joint and neuromuscular functions and riskfactors. Student can plan and guide exercises, physical activity that promotes health and functioning in a safe manner and can support participation of client. He/she can plan and implement progressive therapeutic exercise by utilising knowledge of pathophysiology, exercise physiology, as well as biomechanics and the principles of motor learning.
Student can utilise assistive technology and ergonomy to support the physical activity and functioning of clients. He/she can work together with the client to assess the functionality of the environment in relation to the client’s resources and functional goals. He/she acts according to principles of work life and ethics.
Student knows the shared values underpinning health care and rehabilitation, as well as the common goals and principles.

Pass. The student shows responsibility and functions independently in multi-professional cooperation, or on a team in different environments as an expert in physiotherapy.
The student is capable of evaluating a client's risk factors and disorders affecting movement, as well as the functional capacity of a client/athlete suffering from physical impairment, of drawing conclusions and drafting strong physiotherapy plans that withstand ethical and critical evaluation, to implement the therapy, to evaluate the need for auxiliary equipment, and to implement ergonomics surveys. The student uses and applies various guidance, teaching, and therapy methods in individual and group-type therapy situations in a client-oriented manner. The student drafts documents and statements linked with physiotherapy. The approach to the work is active and entrepreneurial.
