Objective

The student recognizes the factors which have an influence on one´s own life balance. He/she is able to set individual goals promoting life balance and well-being. The student is able to evaluate and develop his own occupational habits and thoughts. He/she knows his/her own strengths and is able to find concrete ways to proceed towards individual goals. The student is able to acquire needed information promoting well-being. The student can recognize possible stress factors and knows ways to control stress The student takes the responsibility of course tasks and projects. He/she is able to solve problems in creative ways. The student have skills to influence his/her future working-life wellbeing.

- dealing with the theme areas which support to reach the individual goals
- getting to know new activities
- evaluating individual activities and drawing up an individual plan for well-being

Teaching methods

The course is based on face to face or online learning. There will be seminars in the start and end of course. Assignments are individual tasks: personal goals, reflection of literature, occupational tasks and plan for the future.

Student workload

Seminars and groupmeetings in face-to face meetings or by online 1 cr (27h).

Online studies 1 cr (27 h)

Reading literature and individual tasks 3 cr (81 h).

Content scheduling

The course is based on weekly tasks and it is participation requires scheduled progress.

Further information

Participation in groupmeetings is possible in face to face-meetings or online meetings.

If passed:
The student is capable of independent knowledge acquisition and learning.
The student possesses the skills to act also in unforeseen situations in his/her field.
The student takes the responsibility of course tasks and projects given and acts in ways agreed, taking into account other actors and players. He/she can plan, organize and develop his/her own activities.

Fail:
The student s are not able to take responsibility of own activities or they are not willing to plan their own work at the course. They are absent from the lessons or take responsibility of the course tasks.

Self-evaluation is also used in the course.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed
