Objective

The student can design independently an application software for process station and user interface. The student has an understanding of the hardware structure, I/O-units and software modules in distributed control system.

TSASO - Design competence
The student can design independently a proper process control according to an initial data.

TSAPL - Competence in processes, machines and systems
The student can configure the fieldbus interfaces and masters the basics of the sequence design.

EA-ER - Engineering practice

The student has an ability to test the configured application software and tune the control loops. The student can find and solve the malfunctions using test and diagnostic software.

Good (3): The student:
•masters the structure of the distributed control system and the dependences between different parts.
•can independently configure the basic loops of the application software and can design the simple sequence application
•can test and tune the application software
•understands the system so deeply that the student can find the reasons of malfunctions.

Very good (4): The student masters the essential knowledge and can apply the knowledge.

Excellent (5): The student masters the essential knowledge and can apply the knowledge acquired in a creative and innovative manner.
