Objective

The student understands the ecological aspect of sustainable development and its significance for the bioeconomy. The student is aware of the human and environmental impacts of the bioeconomy. The student is able to analyze and anticipate the impacts of biological and ecological factors on the functioning and development of the bioeconomy. The student is able to apply ecological sustainability approach to decision making.

Content

Environmentally sustainable use of natural resources
Regional, national and global exploitation of biomass resources and the ecological boundaries, risks and analysis and forecasting of them.

Impact of bioeconomy on soil, atmosphere, water and species.
