Demonstrates advanced skills and knowledge in holistic clinical examination of health status using evidence-based methods. Identifies, evaluates, and synthesizes valid conclusions concerning the health situations and state of health/illness of a client by autonomous clinical decision-making. Integrates a body of evidence from clinical nursing guidelines and other evidence-based practice sources into decision-making concerning the individual situation of a patient. Takes responsibility of independent decisions as an advanced nurse practitioner concerning the selection of appropriate nursing interventions/methods, the implementation of a care plan, and monitoring of a patient’s health condition.
