Objective

The students know the therapeutic and psychological backgrounds of visual arts and creative and therapeutic movement. They are able to work with these methods in demanding client situation, with different client groups and communities.

Content

Therapeutic arts and movement in client work. Psychological basics and methods of visual arts and creative movement.

Qualifications

The students know the theoretical, methodological and ethical basis of health- and social services.

The students
- are able to describe the psychological meanings of creative methods (visual arts and creative movement)in theory and in their own experience
- are able to use the resources, concepts as well as studies of the field in their own thinking and choices
- are able to use and apply creative methods in a client centered and motivating way
- know the differences and possibilities of creative work with individuals and groups
