Grand Study Tour, San JoséLaajuus (5 op)

Osaamistavoitteet

The student is familiarised with the destination and topic of the study tour. He develops his data acquisition skills and actively participates in creating the objectives of the tour, as well as in practical travel arrangements. During the tour, he is introduced to service business and chosen targets, and report on them. He analyses and assesses topics of the chosen destinations and targets, and looks for development proposals by benchmarking them against targets in Finland. The student is able to communicate effectively in English in oral and written formats for different stakeholders in global environment.

Esitietovaatimukset

Students are able to communicate fluently in English.

Arviointikriteerit, tyydyttävä (1)

The course is graded as Pass/Fail, marked as “S (Pass)” and “0 (Fail)”.

S (Pass): The student shows good knowledge of material and destination of the study tour. He is able to communicate his objestives in an effective way. The student demonstrates the ability to manage in real-life situations and challenges abroad with good communications skills in English.

F (Fail): The students is not able to show knowledge of the despination country nor a topic of the study tour. He does not participate in creating the objectives of the tour, as well as in practical travel arrangements. He fail to write a report.
