Osaamistavoitteet

After this course, the student has basic practical skills and insight into journalistic work in music and media. The student is able to analyze journalistic working process and its products, and examine the role and functions of journalism in the society. The student knows how to write critics, articles and other material needed in the field of studies.

Sisältö

The course introduces students to the principles of journalism and mass communication research with the necessary methodological and theoretical concepts. The course offers a critical look the in the leading principles in journalism studies and an analytical approaching to journalistic work as well to theory and practises of public relations.
