European Cultural PolicyLaajuus (5 op)

Osaamistavoitteet

On completion of this module, students will gain an overview of Cultural policy in Europe. They will be aware of the role of international organisations (EU, Unesco, and Council of Europe) and other stakeholder organisations, including cultural networks and lobbying bodies, in European cultural/music policy. They will be familiar with different sources of funding and information relevant to music policy. Students will also be acquainted with current concepts in European cultural policy, including trade, cultural diversity and copyright.
