Osaamistavoitteet

Upon on the completion of the course a student is able to
1. understand the dynamics of the world economy and global business
2. master the core of Porter’s Diamond Model
3. apply the Diamond model in analysing business and business opprtunities in global setting

Sisältö

During the course a student is mades familiar with Porter’s Diamond Model and on it’s components. This learning process is supported by three cases offered by Microeconomics of Competitiveness of Harvard Business School. All this is spiced with international guest lectures concentrating on business on the main congtinents. A student will apply this knowledge and practices in a business specific group assignment, which will presented and assessed by a panel of experts.
