The students understand management accounting as a tool to improve the operations and the profitability of the organization. They have a deep insight into a management accounting field, its methods, purpose, and possibilities.

The main content includes the basics of financial accounting, cost management concepts, management accounting and decision making, capital budgeting and business planning.

- Excellent (5) requires active participation as well as excellent performance in group works, assignments and exam showing excellent learning results in the competence areas defined above. 90 % of total points.
- Good (3-4) requires participation and work as well as good performance in group works, assignments and exam showing good learning results in the competence areas defined above. 70 - 80 % of total points.
- Satisfactory (1-2) requires participation and work as well as satisfactory performance in group works, assignments and exam showing the satisfactory learning results in the competence areas defined above. 50 - 60 % of total points.
