Osaamistavoitteet

The student knows the basic concepts, approaches and methods of family and community nursing. He/she understands the importance of empowerment in the health promotion of families and communities. The student is able to utilize evidence- based decision making in family and community nursing. He/she has competence in promoting the health of families before and after childbirth and masters the essential nursing interventions at different stages of the nursing process. The student has the basic knowledge of the health promotion in women´s health.
The student understands the principals and ethical premises of pediatric and adolescent nursing. The student masters the health promoting of children, adolescent and their families. He/she is able to utilize evidence based decision making during the nursing process with children and adolescent in variable ages. The student masters the etiology of pediatrics, nursing interventions and pharmacotherapy.
the students are familiar with caring for the disabled.

Basics of Nursing and Health promotion and nursing in public health problems modules completed or similar contents approved by the course teacher.

The student understands the principles and ethical premises of family nursing in excellent way by benefit creative problem solves methods. He/she is able to critically analyze his/her knowledge base showing creative thinking. The student is able to solve the learning tasks of family nursing in a developing manner and by creating new working methods. The learning tasks related to family nursing are logical and he/she justifies family nursing topics in an excellent and consistent manner. The student is able to summarize information logically and excellent way by based on evidenced based decision making.
Excellent (4)
The student understands the principles and ethical premises of family nursing very well by benefit creative problem solve methods. He/she is able to critically analyze them. The student is able to solve the learning tasks of family nursing in a developing manner. The learning tasks related to family nursing are logical and he/she is able to justify family nursing topics in a consistent manner. The student is able to summarize information logically by based on evidenced based decision making.

The student understands the principles and ethical premises of family nursing well. He/she is able to analyze them declaratory manner. The student is able to solve the learning tasks of family nursing but the developing perspective is inadequate. The learning tasks related to family nursing are logical and he/she is able to relate family nursing topics in a justifying manner. The student is able to summarize information by based on evidence based decision making.

The student understands the principles and ethical premises of family nursing satisfactory. He/she analyzes his/her competence superficially. The student is able to solve the learning tasks of family nursing but the developing perspective is inadequate. The learning tasks related to familynursing are illogical and he/she is not able to relate family nursing topics in a justifying manner. The student has difficulties to summarize information by based on evidence based decision making.
Poor (1)
The student understands the principles and ethical premises of family nursing defectively. He/she analyzes his/her competence remarkably superficially or self-evaluation is missing totally. The student solves the learning tasks of family nursing superficially. The learning tasks related to family nursing are illogical.
