Osaamistavoitteet
The student understands the principals and ethical premises of pediatric and adolescent nursing. The student masters the health promoting of children, adolescent and their families. He/she is able to utilize evidence based decision making during the nursing process with children and adolescent in variable ages. The student masters the etiology of pediatrics, nursing interventions and pharmacotherapy.

The student knows the basic ethical values and principles of nursing. The student has the basic knowledge of human anatomy and fysiology. The student knows different clinical nursing interventions used on national diseases, as well as related basic technology. They understand the phases and effects of medicines in the system, and have a basic knowledge of the most common medicine groups.
Degree students: Basic competence in basic nursing, health promotion and in nursing in public health problems.
Exchange/other students: similar accepted contents accepted by course teacher.

The student understands the principles and ethical premises of pediatric and adolescent nursing in excellent way by benefit creative problem solves methods. He/she is able to critically analyze his/her knowledge base showing creative thinking. The student is able to solve the learning tasks of pediatric and adolescent nursing in a developing manner and by creating new working methods. The learning tasks related to pediatric and adolescent nursing are logical and he/she justifies pediatric and adolescent nursing topics in an excellent and consistent manner. The student is able to summarize information logically and excellent way by based on evidenced based decision making.

The student understands the principles and ethical premises of pediatric and adolescent nursing very well by benefit creative problem solves methods. He/she is able to critically analyze them.
