Objective
Student demonstrates understanding of cultural effects on individuals, families and communities in their every day life, communication and health beliefs and values. Student is able to plan the nursing care of patients from different cultural backgrounds in ethical and culturally sensitive manner.
Student recognizes the global environmental risks for health and well being.
Student knows the most common tropical diseases and basics of their nursing and medical care. Student is able to assess the global impact of tropical diseases on health and well being using evidence based information.

Student knows the most common tropical diseases and basics of their nursing and medical care and is able to apply the knowledge according to the nursing process. Student is able to critically assess the global impact of tropical diseases on health and well being using evidence based information.
