Maintenance ConceptsLaajuus (5 op)

Osaamistavoitteet

The students are able to evaluate, apply and develop different maintenance concepts and methods. They understand the importance and methods of failure data collection and analysis. They learn to develop and optimize maintenance plans and technologies to improve efficiency of asset management.
EUR-ACE Engineering Design: Students must have the ability to develop and realise engineering designs to meet specified requirements.
EUR-ACE Engineering Practice: Students must have the ability to select and use appropriate equipment, tools and methods to solve engineering problems and must be aware of the non-technical implications of engineering practice.
TELEN: Students understand technical drawings, know basic principles of components and materials as well as the elements of electrical, hydraulic and automation engineering.

Sisältö

Basic reliability theory and failure modes analysis. Maintenance concepts and operations. Reliability Centred Maintenance. Condition monitoring technologies. Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
