Osaamistavoitteet
The students recognize the importance of cost-effective operations. They can apply appropriate methods and tools to evaluate and improve the logistics support of a system during its life so that availability and profit can be maximised.
EUR-ACE Engineering Analysis: Students must have the ability to analyse engineering products and processes and to identify, formulate and solve engineering problems using established methods.
EUR-ACE Investigations: Students must have the ability to use data bases and other sources of information and to conduct experiments, interpret the data and draw conclusions.
TELEC: Students understand the economic principles of successful business and are able to develop products and processes from this point of view.
Sisältö
Availability, reliability, maintainability and supportability analyses based on failure data. Life-cycle cost calculations. Fleet management and spares optimization.
