Professional Advanced Practice IVLaajuus (5 op)

Osaamistavoitteet

The students choose the advanced practice in accordance with their own interests and career plan. The students deepen their profession-specific competence and get practice in developing and internationalizing their professional field.

Sisältö

The students complete the supervised advanced practical training in health care settings requiring expertise in physiotherapy and approved by the School of Health and Social Studies of JUA. The practical training can also be international exchange or entrepreneurship-based or completed through R&D&I activities.

Esitietovaatimukset

The practice periods of physiotherapy and the compulsory professional studies of the field of advanced practice have been completed.

Assessment Pass/Fail
Pass: The student possesses an adequate knowledge/skill level and has an active attitude with initiative for self-improvement to work in future independently as a physiotherapist. He/she is capable for evaluating critical information, outlining wholes, implementing development projects and developing work methods. He/she has the capability to cooperate and can work in different tasks – even internationally –, in work groups and networks as an expert on and developer of physiotherapy.
