Objective

The student:
*is able, in cooperation with the client and a multiprofessional team of specialists, to plan, implement and assess rehabilitation processes and services at the level of both the individual and community.
*is able to initiate and coordinate multidisciplinary and multiprofessional cooperation.
*is able to gather and document the information and viewpoints produced through cooperation and utilise these in putting together a rehabilitation plan.
*knows how to negotiate with a rehabilitation network and promote its work with his/her expertise.
*knows how to select and use the appropriate and cost-effective methods for planning.
*knows how to apply technological opportunities in the planning and implementation of rehabilitation in order to maintain and improve the client’s functional ability.
*knows how to supervise his/her own work and a team.

Content

The content of practical training is determined by possibilities provided by the location of the practical training, the objectives of the period and a student’s own goals and career plans.

Qualifications

The students have an extensive idea on the operation of rehabilitation service system and on related central legislation. The students know the basics of the rehabilitation, operative forms, actors and customer groups of rehabilitation. They are familiar with the different assessment methods of functionality and operational environment and counselling methods.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Pass: The student’s assignments demonstrate that he/she has achieved the learning outcomes.
