Objective

The student understands the significance of distributed and renewables energy solutions in the climate change and sustainable development point of view.
The student knows the energy consumption of buildings and can design renewable energy solutions.
The student also knows the heating, cooling and air conditioning systems in buildings

Content

Energy consumption, energy efficiency and basics of heating and air conditioning systems.
Distributed renewable energy production, like heat pumps, solar energy, geothermal energy,bioenergy.
District heating solutions.
Cooling energy production and district cooling.
Connecting distributed energy production to networks.

Qualifications

Energy Economy, Basics ob Thermodynamics, The student knows the basics of heat and flow technics and knows the basics of climate and energy policy and energy economics
