Osaamistavoitteet
The students know the importance of the family-oriented work within social and health care. The students understand the variety of family care services in Europe. They are familiar with empowering strategies and solution-oriented work with families. The students know the importance of inter-professional, culture-sensitive work within an international environment. The students know how to function in communicative and interactive situations typical of family work in social and health care.

EUROPEAN FAMILY POLICIES AND SERVICES FOR FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN
- 2 ECTS:European Family Policies,Supporting Families - International Practices and Programmes
- 3 ECTS Multiprofessional possibilities to work with families (in rehabilitation, social work or nursing), methods of different professions.
Esitietovaatimukset
A basic understanding of social and health care in one’s own country. This knowledge can be obtained through a half year of university studies in a social and health care area OR through work in a corresponding field.

PASS:
The student has mastered the basic knowledge about the international and interprofessional family work. He/she is capable of independent knowledge acquisition and learning. The student knows how to disseminate the knowledge acquired. The student can evaluate information from various viewpoints. The student is familiar with the key information sources for the course concerned.
The student knows how to flexibly adapt his/her activities in accordance with the challenges presented by the task and the operational environment. The student possesses the skills to act also in unforeseen situations in the international and interprofessional family work. The student finds it challenging to manage with some more demanding professional tasks which require the ability to apply theoretical knowledge in multiple ways.
The student takes the responsibility of course tasks and projects given and acts in ways agreed, taking into account other actors and players. He/she can plan, organize and develop his/her own activities. The student is familiar with international information sources.
FAIL: The student does not know the basic concepts of the course. He/she is not able to take responsibility of course tasks or plan his/her own work at the course.
