Objective
The student is familiar with the legislation regulating occupational well-being. The student knows the central concepts included in occupational well-being. The student is able to examine occupational well-being from the perspectives of the individual, organisation and society. The student recognises the significance of work to human well-being and is able to assess the load of different professions and work tasks. The student knows the central principles for promoting occupational well-being.
Content
Legislation, such as the Occupational Health Care Act 1383/2001, Occupational Safety and Health Act 738/2002, Working Hours Act 605/1996. Occupational well-being from the perspectives of the individual, organisation and society. Central concepts, such as the different dimensions of occupational well-being, ability to work and actions promoting the ability to work. Load of work. Promotion of occupational well-being.
Qualifications
The student knows the principles of occupational well-being, occupational safety, patient transfers and visual display unit work. The student is able to perform key first aid measures and follow the operating principles of asepsis. The student knows the principles of assessing and promoting functional capacity. The student is familiar with the basic services of the social and health care field.

The student is able to diversely and critically examine, based on wide source synthesis, occupational well-being from the perspectives of the individual, organisation and society. The student is able to competently assess the load of different professions and work tasks. The student understands the central principles for promoting occupational well-being.
