Osaamistavoitteet

A student knows about the factors that are affecting the planning of real estate and environmental services in enterprises. He/she is able to implement real estate and environmental services in enterprises.
A student is able to act according to principles of corporate social responsibility when planning and implementing the real estate services and environmental services.
•are aware of the environmental impact of companies in the service sector.
•know the systems related to environmental management and can develop the environmental activities of a service enterprise.
He/she has a conception of the possibilities to apply Natural Sciences for monitoring and improving the state of the environment.
A student has a general view of the administrative procedure in environmental matters in Finland.
He/she knows the main principles of the environmental regulations, and identifies the environmental risks in their own fields.
A student understands the effects of EU and international agreements on the environmental policy in Finland.

Real estate services and environmental services and their planning and organizing in enterprises.
The interest groups of a service business with regard to environmental issues
The environmental impacts of service business activities
Environmental systems and the principles for their creation
Implementing a company’s environmental programme
Environmental administration in Finland, environmental protection policies in EU and in Finland, the control of land use, building, and chemicals including nature conservation legislation, the licensing system, environmental impact assessment, guidance by information and market related means of guidance.
Applications of physics and chemistry in real estate services and environmental services. The increased use of chemicals, the scientific background of environmental changes, acoustics, lighting planning, humidity problems in buildings, radiation physics.

The learning outcomes of a course will be assessed in accordance with its learning objectives on the basis of the skills and knowledge and general competences specified in The National and European Quality Management Systems (NQF/EQF, level 6).

1 (Sufficient)
*The student is aware of the environmental impact of companies in the service sector.
*The Student has a general view of the administrative procedure in environmental matters in Finland. *He/she knows the systems related to environmental management
2 (Satisfactory)
*He/she has a conception of the possibilities to apply Natural Sciences for monitoring and improving the state of the environment.

*He/she knows the main principles of the environmental regulations, and identifies the environmental risks in their own fields.
*The student understands the effects of EU and international agreements on the environmental policy in
Finland.


3(Good)
In addition to the core competence required for grades 1 and 2, the student has a command of the skills listed below, and is also capable of making use of the skills learnt.

*A student knows about the factors that are affecting the planning of real estate and environmental services in enterprises.
4 (Very Good)
*He/she is able to implement real estate and environmental services in enterprises and is able to develop the environmental activities of a service enterprise.
5 (Excellent)

In addition to the core competence required for grades 3 and 4, the student has a command of the skills listed below, and is also capable of making use of the skills learnt in a critical and innovative way
*A student is able to act according to principles of corporate social responsibility when planning and implementing the real estate services and environmental services.

Unless otherwise specified in the curriculum, successfully completed courses will be assessed using a five-point scale: 5 (Excellent), 4 (Very Good), 3 (Good), 2 (Satisfactory), and 1 (Sufficient). A course will be graded as a 0 (Fail) if the student is unable to achieve the minimum objectives of the course.
In special cases, a course may be graded as an S (Pass) or a 0 (Fail).
