Objective
The students continue acquiring and applying functional language skills for work life. They broaden their cultural knowledge of French speaking countries. They are able to understand different texts and media in French and communicate in French in various ways.

Student is able to fluently communicate in various social encounters and routine discussions at work. Student can interact spontaneously according to the cultural norms. Student is able to use central work-related vocabulary and sentence structures in a natural way. Student can write brief messages and reports almost flawlessly. Student is able to effortlessly understand clear standard speech.

Student is able to communicate fairly fluently in most regular social encounters pertinent to everyday life, also at work. Student can interact with relative spontaneity respecting cultural norms. Student is able to use work-related vocabulary and register required both orally and in writing. Student can understand various texts on familiar topics and also texts of their own professional field. Student is able to follow clear standard speech and understand the main point of many TV and radio programs on current affairs of personal or professional interest.

Student is able to deal with most situations likely to arise when travelling in the areas where French is spoken. Student is able to successfully interact in various basic work-related tasks both orally and in writing, although there may be some hesitation and minor problems with the language. Student can understand standard texts and TV programs on familiar topics quite well.
