3 cr FF Project planning:
The course is implemented flexibly as online studies. Studies include independent study and teamwork. The course utilizes digital and interactive tools. The student group agrees on how to implement teamwork. Group guidance supports task performance.
During the course, you plan a small-scale project related to the development needs of working life in the student team. Project planning proceeds in stages. Competence assessment is based on portfolio and reflection (incl. Reflection on one's own activities, peer feedback, possible working life and feedback from the supervisor)
In the portfolio, you will be able to justify the stages of project implementation and evaluate the tools and methods you use in the project and their suitability for solving the development challenge of working life.
You will be able to critically reflect on your project work, your own activities, your own role and define the next steps in developing your project skills. (self-assessment and feedback discussion, peer feedback, feedback from potential working life and mentor)
The client will be provided with the usable output (s) of the project as group work.

*Please note, due to Covid-19 the students are required to use mask in the classroom. If this is not possible there is a possibility to complete the course remotely/independently. Thank you for your understanding.
Method of learning:
There are two ways of completing the course. Face 2 face at the classroom or completely remotely/independently.
The course schedule is planned for the face 2 face method.
The independent studies only have the final deadline for the assignments. Please see them at Moodle.
The course will be arranged by the flipped learning method.
One of the most exciting advancements in the modern classroom is flipped learning. It hinges on the idea that students learn more effectively by using class time for small group activities and individual attention. Teachers then assign students lecture materials and presentations to be viewed at home or outside of the classroom day, prioritizing active learning.
“Less ‘sit and listen’ equals more ‘do and learn’ — and the flipped model is making class time more enjoyable, productive and engaging for students and teachers.” — The Flipped Institute
http://www.flippedlearning.fi/p/kaanteinen-oppiminen_12.html
So your job is to listen/watch the theoretical lectures at home and we will work with your group works and learning diaries at the classroom. Therefor you can watch the theoretical lectures where ever you want in your own time (before the next lecture) and then you will always have a guidance to do your assignments during the contact lectures. This also makes the group work easier as there is dedicated time reserved to this on your study schedules. 3
The materials will be provided by the lecturer.

lThe assessment in the course is based on the competence demonstrated in the exam (60 %, 3 ECTS credits), in independent learning assignments (40 %, 1 ECTS credits) and in learning assignments made in pairs (1 ECTS credits).
The independent learning task focuses on the concepts of the subject area in a questionnaire with multiple-choice and false/true questions. You are free to use any material to solve your questions. The assignment can be completed in parts, the assignment can be interrupted and returned during the course. However, we recommend that you complete the task before the exam. You will know immediately after answering whether the answer is correct, but not the correct answer. You will receive a score and correct and incorrect answers as soon as you return all the answers to the questionnaire. Personal feedback (right / wrong) will therefore come when you return the answers for review. Corrective personal feedback, i.e. the correct answer after the response time has ended.
The exam emphasizes calculation and competence in recording business transactions. The exam is taken at the given exam time, without supporting material and it is time-limited (1h 45min). As a personal feedback, you will receive an exam result score by question and brief comments on any errors that have led to any point deductions.
The pair work emphasizes the application of theory. The task is evaluated pass/fail. The evaluation criteria for the approved performance are reviewed separately and in more detail at the beginning of the course.
All assessed parts must be completed with pass to complete the course.

TÄMÄ TOTEUTUS VAIN GRADIAN TYR-OPISKELIJOILLE
Toteutetaan ajalla 1.3. - 31.12.2022
FF-projektikurssin pilotointi Gradian TYR-opiskelijoille
Vain FF-projektin Projektin suunnittelu (3op) osuuden hyväksiluku (not translated)
FF projektin suunnittelu 3 op osuus on itsenäisesti toteutettava verkko-opintojakso.
3 op FF Projektin suunnittelu:
Opintojakso toteutetaan joustavasti verkko-opintoina. Opinnot sisältävä itsenäistä opiskelua ja tiimissä tapahtuvaa työskentelyä. Opintojaksolla hyödynnetään digitaalisia ja vuorovaikutteisia työvälineitä. Opiskelijaryhmä sopii tiimityöskentelyn toteutustavoista. Ryhmäohjaus tukee tehtävien tekemistä.
Opintojakson aikana suunnittelet opiskelijatiimissä työelämän kehitystarpeeseen liittyvän pienimuotoisen projektin. Projektin suunnittelu etenee vaiheittain.
