Content scheduling

Situations: Telephone conversations, problem situations, negotiations in the office, products, services, factory, marketing. Structures: Grammar forms typical of business communication, expressions of time, cases of nouns and adjectives in singular and plural, verbs in different tenses, aspects, passive voice.

Objective

Proficiency level: B1 Students are able to - use grammatical structures and vocabulary needed at work - communicate in spoken and written working life situations.

Language of instructions: Finnish and Russian (also English if needed). Online learning: participating in online lectures, speaking tasks and accepted obligatory assignments.

Language of instructions: Finnish and Russian (also English if needed). Online learning: participating in online lectures, speaking tasks and accepted obligatory assignments. Participation in remote sessions is mandatory. Online lessons are held once a week.

Qualifications

Russian for Working Life 1 or equivalent skills or about three years of Russian studies at senior secondary school. Students speaking Russian as the mother tongue are not generally accepted to the course. CERF level: minimum A2.2.
