Objective

The Global Team Leadership course is designed to provide you with the necessary conceptual frameworks and practical skills for effectively leading teams in the global business environment. Focusing on the future of team leadership, this course covers processes and practices that empower organizations to lead their teams effectively and secure a sustainable competitive advantage.

Your teacher will share knowledge and personal experiences from team leadership, and encourage interactive discussions. Throughout the course, you will have the opportunity to collaborate in an international team using English. You will assume the role of a team leader or undertake other team responsibilities. You will apply the knowledge gained from the lessons to practical real-world assignments and case studies, engaging in rich interactions and exchanging ideas with your international peers. This hands-on approach enables you to co-construct meaning and knowledge, providing invaluable experience for your future role as a team leader and your career.

Course competences:

Sufficient (1) You demonstrate a basic understanding of the fundamental frameworks and principles of Global Team Leadership, with recognition of key concepts. Intellectual Skills: You show an ability to identify simple team leadership challenges and propose rudimentary solutions, supported by foundational academic literature.

Satisfactory (2) You exhibit the acceptable understanding of core concepts and frameworks, and can relate central themes of the course to the context of Global Team Leadership adequately. You possess analytical skills sufficient to review and address straightforward challenges, using relevant academic literature to back up assertions at a satisfactory level.

Good (3) You demonstrate a solid understanding of course material, with the ability to apply key frameworks effectively to understand Global Team Leadership.You are capable of analysing team leadership issues from various perspectives, showing an ability to synthesize information and arguments from a range of academic sources moderately well.
