    You will become familiar with the digital technology that is widely used in the field, such as number systems and their transformations, the basics of logical design, and the simplification of logical expressions. This course allows for more in-depth study of the topic in other courses.

    Sufficient 1: You are familiar with number systems and can do simple number system conversions using examples. You know the basics of logical design and can simplify logical expressions with the help of examples. You will be able to analyze simple digital technology problems. Designing solutions is challenging for you.

    Satisfactory 2: You master number systems and know how to make number system transformations using examples. You know the basics of logical design and Boolean algebra and can simplify expressions with the help of examples. You will be able to analyze simple digital technology problems and design solutions based on examples.
    Assessment criteria - grade 3 and 4
    Good 3: You master number systems and can do number system conversions on your own. You master the basics of logical design and Boolean algebra and know how to simplify expressions. You will be able to analyze digital technology problems and design solutions on your own.

    Very good 4: You master number systems and know how to make demanding number system conversions. You master the basics of logical design and Boolean algebra and know how to simplify expressions. You know the basics of combination logic. You will be able to analyze digital technology problems and design creative solutions.
    Assessment criteria - grade 5
    Excellent 5: You master number systems and can do demanding number system conversions. You master the Boolean algebra and can simplify expressions. You master logical design, combinatorial logic and sequence logic and are able to apply knowledge in technical design. You will be able to independently analyze demanding problems and design creative solutions
