Objective

You have formed a comprehensive picture of the changes in the operating environment of the music industry. You have an understanding of the development prospects of the industry and how your own expertise fits in with them. You have an overview of the different forms of entrepreneurship within the music industry and music-related industries.

You are able to recognize the commercial potential of your own expertise and how your expertise can be productized in a customer-oriented and profitable way. You communicate clearly and fluently, both orally and in writing, using information and communication technology when appropriate.

You are familiar with the studies, services and forms of support provided by the education sector and the rest of society, and are aware of the opportunities they provide. You have the ability to continue your entrepreneurship studies as well as the necessary basic knowledge to start a self-employed business. You act responsibly alone and with others, and you are able to create and maintain connections with working life.

You are able to productize your own expertise: you have at least one customer-oriented product or business idea that utilizes your own expertise and is in line with the development prospects of the music industry.

You participate responsibly in the projects and group work carried out during the course so that your contribution has a positive effect on the outcome. You communicate clearly and fluently. You utilize information and communication technology wherever appropriate.

Through project/group work or a learning task, you demonstrate a thorough knowledge of at least one form of entrepreneurship in the field of music. You have at least one new connection to working life.

Teaching methods

Opintojaksolla osallistut luennoille sekä ryhmätöiden ja projektien tekemiseen. Opiskeluun kuuluu lähi- ja/tai etäopiskelun lisäksi itsenäisten oppimistehtävien tekemistä sekä opiskelu- ja/tai tukimateriaaliin tutustumista.

Opintojaksolla pyritään mahdollisuuksien mukaan hyödyntämään vierailevia luennoitsijoita työelämän asiantuntijoina. Hankit myös vähintään yhden uuden työelämäyhteyden esim. toteuttamalla yrittäjähaastattelun, ja raportoimalla siitä.
