The students are able to apply their knowledge and skills in a specific ICT field and analyse, assess and develop activities in this area.

The students understand the key processes and functions of business activities. They understand the importance of information technology as part of the organisation's operations and its role in developing said operations. The students are able to develop business processes using information technology. They understand the significance of agreements, licences and copyrights in their own work. The students can plan and implement trainings and work at the customer interface.

The students are familiar with typical software production models, methods and tools. They can specify, design and test software solutions, databases and user interfaces. The students are able to document their work and interpret documents produced by others. They are familiar with the tools and methods related to project management and know how to apply their knowledge in practical project work. The students are familiar with the principles of user-centric design and usability.

The students master programming and can independently improve their programming competence. They are familiar with an extensive range of technologies used in software development, especially in web application development, and recognise the significance of different technologies and the relationships between them.

The students are familiar with and can utilise typical ICT information systems. They are able to install and configure information systems in different test and production environments. The students master the tools related to software development and cooperation and understand the significance of these for software development. They can design, produce and publish content on different platforms.

The graduating student adheres to the ethical principles and values of their field of profession, taking the principles of equality and non-discrimination into account.
