The purpose of the course
You understand the basic phenomena of physics, inorganic and organic chemistry as part of practical applications. You know how to apply them in emerging environmental and energy technology solutions.

You can recognize environmental and energy engineering phenomena and solve simple problems related to these phenomena.
Content
Chemical and physical mechanisms of environmental pollution, environmental chemistry and its applications and solutions, process and wastewater treatment, basics of electricity, quantum mechanics and nuclear physics, radiation and sound.
Qualifications
The basic knowledge of mechanics, thermodynamics, chemistry, elementary functions and algebra are required.
