Objective

In today's dynamic working environment, the ability to manage and work on projects is essential. This theoretical background introduces the principles of project management, highlighting the importance of project work in a modern professional environment. You will gain an understanding of the project life cycle, the different types of projects, and the roles of specialists and organisations in a project.
The course will prepare you to be able to design, implement and report a professional development project in cooperation with a multidisciplinary project team.

After completing the course, you will be able to
- justify the importance of project work in your field of studies now and in the future
- identify the different types of projects, their requirements and their suitability for different situations
- structure the life cycle, phases and tasks of a project
- define the roles and responsibilities of a project organisation
- justify the importance of a customer-driven approach to project success.
