Objective

After this course, the student has basic practical communicational skills and an insight into international journalistic work in music and media. The student is able to analyze the journalistic work process and its products, and examine the role and functions of journalism in society in a interactive way. The student knows how to write critics, articles and other material needed in the field of study.

Content

The course introduces students to the principles of journalism and mass communication research with the necessary methodological and theoretical concepts. The course offers a critical look into the leading principles of journalism studies and an analytical approach to journalistic work, as well as to the theory and practises of public relations.
