Physiotherapy Enhancing Functional Capacity I (7cr)

Objective

The students can plan a physiotherapeutic implementation based on the assessment of patient's function when it comes to dysfunctions related to cardiovascular and respiratory system, mental functions and ageing, and they can evaluate the effectiveness of the therapy. The students know the basic principles of physiotherapy of the disorders in the area of pelvis and the possibilities of the therapy of immunity's dysfunctions. The Students can use ethical aspects in their work

Content

The impact of respiratory disorders on function, the special features of physiotherapy of obstructive and restrictive respiratory diseases, the physiotherapy of a thoracic surgical patient.

Qualifications

The students know the methods of functional assessment, and on the part of therapeutical training, the principles of exercises that support the functioning of respiratory, cardiovascular system as well as mental activity.
