Assessment and Support of Work Ability (3cr)

Objective

The student knows the basic models of occupational therapy used with work-aged people. She is able to evaluate the client's work and functional capasity with tests and activities, and to enhance the development of the skills needed at work. She is able choose and form different arm and finger splints and cervical collars.

Content

Occupational therapy models in the rehabilitation of working capacity, work ability tests, making splints and supportive collars.

Qualifications

Knowledge of the structure and function of the locomotor system
