Production Management (5cr)

Objective

The students know the fundamentals of business management. They are familiar with the goods manufacturing results of a single enterprise. They know various types of manufacturing systems and sub-systems, their suitability for various situations, and their strategic development process. They also know the characteristics of the products in the production of services, service strategies, their development process, and the basics of service production management.

Content

Fundamentals of business management. Production and other functions of an enterprise. Capacity and facility strategies. Production goals and methods . Model for selecting and adopting a production method in a single enterprise. Services, service strategies, development of services, management of capacity and demand, management of waiting time, queuing models and capacity planning.
