Workshop for New Business Development (0op)

Osaamistavoitteet

The aim of this course is to enhance the student's capacity to recognize, assess, articulate and reshape new business opportunities. During the course, the student will form a startup team, and together with other team members will learn to develop a scalable and repeatable startup idea for raising a venture capital funding. The Course final will be arranged on 19th of June, called "Lean Startup Summer Riot 2018" for an acclaimed board. The student will learn to utilize the best agile manifesto and lean startup principles for a new business development, and access the resources required to create a new venture from a business opportunity. The student will have the key skills in generating new business ideas through lean startup methodology, and developing their business ideas through validated learning and accountable metrics, that can guide in the start-up process and in creating a new entrepreneurial organisation.

1 (Sufficient): The student knows the innovation process.
2 (Satisfactory): The student knows the innovation process. He is able to identify personal strengths and weaknesses and highlight the importance of forming a well-rounded venture building team.
3 (Good): He is able to form a well-rounded venture building team, and he knows how to lead and manage new ventures.
4 (Very good): He is able to form a well-rounded venture building team and to lead and manage new ventures.
5 (Excellent): The student is able to manage the innovation process and identify new business opportunities on the international market.
