Objective
The students have acquired cognitive and methodological tools for the recognition of phenomena related to different client groups, and for the assessment and anticipation of needs and future trends in health and social care from the perspective of present day. They are able to utilize these competencies in their own work and work community. They have familiarized themselves with the latest ideas of the field through literature and other sources, and know how to use the tools supporting anticipation.
Content
Anticipation and description of the future, national anticipation systems analysing development in the field. Generation, processing and application of knowledge benefiting the future of health policy in different contexts, e.g. as part of decision-making. Familiarization with the tools of ancipation competence and practicing their use.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
Active participation in contact and online study, independent assignment assessed according to criteria in R5.
