Objective

The students are able to apply elementary French to everyday interaction, communicating according to cultural norms and promoting their internationalisation.

Content

Greetings, introducing oneself, making appointments, telling about oneself, talking about the weather, going to a café and restaurant, facts about Finland, times, dates and years. Comparing France and Finland: cuisine, restaurant behaviour.

Qualifications

Completion of French 1 (ZZCF1100) or equivalent knowledge.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Active participation, self-assessment; mastery of vocabulary, grammar and topic area; pronunciation.
