Objectives
The main focus of the programme is the economy and business environment of Argentina, Chile and Brazil. A combination of multiple learning perspectives: Business Spanish Skills, Latin America Economics Issues, and Hands-On Latin Business Operational Strategies.
Cooperation with companies, entrepreneurs and trade associations for visits, case studies, industry speakers and practical situations

Content
14 weeks (280 contact hours) at UADE University, Buenos Aires, Argentina, 5 ECTS per course.
1. Leadership and Negotiation in Latin Emerging Markets, 5 ECTS
-Understanding effective negotiation styles for doing business in Latin America.• Cases and intercultural simulation of trade negotiations. This course gives you the opportunity to discover your own potential by developing interpersonal and leadership skills.• Overview of the Latin American Legal System
2. Human Resources Management in Latin America, 5 ECTS
- Understanding alternative approaches to manage human resources and appreciate the diversity of factors that motivate workers in Latin America.• Applying best practices for hiring, rewarding employees and for managing employee performance.• Avoiding key mistakes in managing human resources in Latin America.
3. Strategic Management in Latin America, 5 ECTS
- Strategies for Penetrating Foreign Markets, Search of Competitive Advantages in Foreign Markets• Strategic Corporate Alliances. Foreign Partners.• Market Strategies for Emerging Economies.• Opportunities, Challenges, and Risks of Doing Business in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and Mexico
4. Global Marketing and Sales, 5 ECTS
-Latin American Marketing Environment: Understanding Customer Segments, Consumer Behavior, Distribution Channels, and other Marketing Elements.• B2B and B2C Sales and Marketing.• Case Studies / Visits to Marketing and Advertising Agencies
5. Spanish Language and Communication Skills , 5 ECTS (mandatory for the group of Jamk School of Business), 3 levels
-• General Spanish Language Skills: Grammar, Key Language Structures, Conversation Skills.• Business Spanish: Terminology, Practice of the most relevant Business Situations for a Foreign Business Partner.
6. Innovation and Design Thinking (Elective Course)*, 5 ECTS
- • Mastering the necessary tools to generate new ideas and quickly transform those concepts into new products and services. • Learning a highly effective method of brainstorming called Systematic Inventive Thinking• Learning design thinking tools to take new concepts. • Learning from a panel of practitioners and experts in the fields of innovation, new product development, and venture start-up
7. Foreign Trade in MERCOSUR(Elective course), 5 ECTS
- The purpose of this course is to provide students with the skills, knowledge, and experience to take advantage of the new opportunities in the south American market, to overcome cultural barriers and build lasting international alliances. You will address essential business topics within the context of global trade, ranging from macro issues such as the global economy to pragmatic topics such as logistic procedures on how to move goods around the world

Practical training and working life connections
During the programme the students get familiar with various kinds of introductions to working life in Argentina, alumni cooperation. There will also be visiting lecturers from companies and visits to companies
Exam dates and retake possibilities
At UADE the professors may use a conventional exam, individual and group assignments/presentations, and final classroom exams. The dates will be informed in the beginning of the programme in Buenso Aires.
International connections
You will learn the internationalization of the Latin American continent through the subjects learned in the classes.

Student workload
One credit corresponds to an average of 27 hours of work, which means that the load of five credits is approximately 135 hours. The load is distributed in different ways depending on the course implementation by each professor in each course.
Learning assignments and the time needed for completing them and the student’s other scheduling (e.g. teaching sessions and studying of literature, preparing for lectures, etc.) is shared by the professors at UADE University upon arrival.
The whole programme is valid for 30 ECTS.
