Objectives

You are able to apply in practice the different parts of product development process, you learn working methods used in industry and you are prepared for typical tasks for product development engineers. You learn to recognize customer needs and learn to select essential information from customer need to guide your development process. You are attending project in multi subject teams with subjects from industry.

Investigations and information retrieval:
You are able to do information retrieval and benefit patent databases and other relevant sources.

Engineering practice:
You learn to identify, formulate and solve complex engineering versatile problems and are able to select is relevant and established established analytic, computational and experimental techniques and methods. You can develop and design complex products (devices, artefacts, etc.) to meet established requirements that can include societal, health and safety, environmental, economic and industrial constraints. You are able to select and have the practical skills to apply relevant design methodologies, standards, safety regulations and established guidelines.

Communication and team working:
You are able to communicate clearly about ideas, problems and solutions with the engineering community. You have ability to function effectively as an individual and as a member of a team and to cooperate effectively with engineers and non-engineers.
