Objectives
The themes of Practical training - basic are working life practices and safety at work. The objective is that you are able to work as a member of a work community, understand the general practices of working life, and recognize the safety requirements at work and take them into account in your own work.
Content
Completing the practical training involves a period of work in the workplace and reporting back to the school on the tasks and learning objectives. The duration of the practical training must be at least 7 calendar weeks in the case of full-time work five days a week. The practical training is broadly open to all jobs in the logistics sector and there are no specific requirements for the workplace. In addition, non-logistical jobs are also accepted for the first practical training. The first practical training can also be credited with previous work experience acquired before the start of the studies.

Alternative completion methods
Students can choose to accredit this with work experience gained before starting their studies. Accreditation is subject to a minimum of 7 calendar weeks of work experience in an employment relationship and the completion of a self-evaluation report.
Student workload
One credit is calculated as an average of 27 hours of work, i.e. 270 hours in total.

The completed practical training report will be evaluated on a pass/fail scale. The approved report must comply with the reporting guidelines.
